Experience Summary

I have over 15 years of experience within the various aspects of architecture, engineering, planning & development, and construction management involving commercial and residential projects.  My role has been instrumental in the achievement of solutions for challenging and complex problems, having helped various organizations streamline operations, meet critical deadlines, and avoid unnecessary expenses.  I have operated effectively at all levels (executive, managerial, grassroots) based on a foundation of relational team-building.  I am accustomed to a fast-paced, demanding environment, making timely decisions in critical situations.  As a strong self-starter, I appreciate a team-oriented environment which can foster valuable, relevant, and applicable ideas.  I place a premium on maintaining good communication and vital documentation throughout the duration of any project, large or small.  Organizing the details has played a key role in helping executive and operations teams to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.  I believe these efforts will always help to surpass company and client expectations.

Notable Accomplishments/Contributions

Ø      Transactional oversight resulted in a shortfall of necessary development rights for a parcel already under closed contract; without which our proposed development would not have been approved within the existing DRI.  Discovered the shortfall and after much due diligence and consistent correspondence and negotiations with relevant development rights holders, this deficit was secured, thus averting a financial disaster and saving the project ¹

Ø      On-time, on-budget project delivery (design/fabrication/installation) of more than 400 over-sized architectural pre-cast panels requiring aggressive 3-truck rotation delivery to a space-restrictive site, thus enclosing a six-story building and allowing for ensuing trades to continue as-scheduled ²

Ø      Completion of more than 100 design and design/build projects including full-scale real estate development projects and upscale remodeling/renovation/restoration projects requiring complex architectural and structural design solutions ³

Ø      Secured numerous building permits for various building and site development projects  generating multi-million dollar revenues

Ø      Instrumental in the increase of business revenue by 200% ($1,000,000 to $3,000,000) within three years with the implementation of improved team & production organization, training, client relations, and volume project bidding

Ø      Implementation of company policies and expectations which fostered a much-needed culture of professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail and thus, improving profit margins

Ø      Within a period of two months (at onset of employment), I played a vital role in bringing 5 clients to committed closing status with company education/school establishment offering setting up long-term financial growth & profitability for all parties involved.  This effort came about through effective department reorganization & communication

Ø      In an ESE (Exceptional Student Education) geometry class, the use of teaching accommodations along with the strengthening of teacher-student relationship, Exceptional Students gained understanding & retention of subject material resulting in earned grades of ‘C’ and above including three ‘A’s’.  *Note:  Several of these students had consistently been at the ‘F’ or ‘D’ level in other subjects ⁷
